Tom & Kathy (Fabian) Seremet, our fellow classmates, share proud smiles at their eldest sons wedding. Sadly, suddenly & unexpectedly, Tom passed on in Jan., 2004.

Pilot John Gerbas runs his own airline, a cargo delivery business, but "relaxes" on his KY farm with new love - race horses, currently numbering about two dozen.

One block from Noll sat a popular burger joint! Note that fish was served only on Fridays, back when Catholics couldn't eat red meat on that day of the week!

John Lanigan dives for the glory of Noll's swimming team! Subsequent to his watery ways in high school, John made a big splash in college (3 times!) and went on to earn a doctorate level degree. Sadly, our brand new pool was cemented over in 2003.

Brand spanking new Bishop Noll--complete with a yet unpaved parking lot! The Class of 1965 was fortunate to enjoy a state-of-the-art high school, but not before putting up with off-campus classes, 1/2 days, and other inconveniences!

Tops In Track! Noll's "thinclads" had the longest sports season (indoor and outdoor) among athletes, with practice starting after Christmas and the last meet run at Clark H.S. in late May.

Did you know we had a real Queen in the Class? Paula Dybel was chosen as a Mardi Gras Queen. Her consort was her handsome husband, our own Bob Zabrecky. With them are their 3 sons, Rob, Ryan, and Justin. We miss this lovely lady who died in 2001.

Bunny Fijut King and Jerry King, STILL looking great after all these years! Wow, wonder if we will see the Kings dressed this formally at all of our class reunions?!! This classmate couple looked sharp "stepping out" four decades ago. See photo on right.

During our high school years basketball star Jerry King and cheerleader Bunny Fijut formed a lasting partnership. Jerry recalls doing the popular dance, "The Freddy," after dinner at the Sabre Room. Dance fads abounded during the '60's.

Chick Koszis retires June 30, 2005 and he says this is " what most people will see of me this summer!" Happy Trails, Chick - - don't forget to stop in when you get this way.

Would you believe he dances? Yes, former BNI head of physical education department, wrestling and football coach George Wilson is still a "doer!" George and his lovely wife Madeline have enjoyed ballroom dancing for many years.

Notre Dame grads remember Chuck Naus big day as he introduced Bobby Kennedy to the student assembly on April 4,1968. Chuck says on the way back to the airport they learned of MLKs murder.

Several classmates either "work at home" or have domestic offices where "the job" continues after office hours. Lew Schwerin works for IBM exclusively from his Colorado mountain retreat (see next 2 photos).

The day after the 40th reunion Eileen McKern took Mary Lou Bolfik on a tour of the Nazareth Home in East Chicago.Here's Eileen and one of the babes sheltered there.

It is said that it gets lonely "at the top"--Lew Schwerin's isolated mountain digs are surrounded by this grand display of nature at its finest. Lew welcomes classmates who wish to flee their urban blues!

Like Lew Schwerin, Bill Schweitzer also performs his job for a computer giant from home. This aerial photo shows Bill's land cleared to make room for a home, olive orchard, and grape arbor. Bill has gotten "into" winemaking!

So how did Bill Schweitzer get so "brainy?" From this vintage photo of Bill Murphy, Bill Schweitzer, and junior Noreen LaMere, it seems that the "smart genes" were there all along! Bill Murphy was recently named Vice President of Ohio State University.

Just for the fun of it, BNI '65 Class President, Justina Bialek, sent Bill Schweitzer this humorous mock-up of a wine label for his faux winery!

Joanne "Cookie" Zagar also brings "work home." Cookie is a successful real estate agent working the D.C. area while enjoying life in nearby Maryland. Cookie lived in many states during 3 decades with Amoco, developing a keen eye for property development.

Ted Zagar taught science at Noll (1972-73) and currently operates the media center at Merrillville's Pierce Middle School. Ted has authored over 100 articles and columns on wellness/medical astrology in print and on various web sites.

"Gentlemen, begin!" Coach/teacher Bob Bradtke (BNI '56). Bob's sister, Pauline (Pat), our '65 classmate, died in Dec., 2004. Bob retired from Gavit H.S. faculty in 2002.
